Tawheed
Submit To Allah
Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful)
Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Islam,
Today, I am honoured to delve into the profound concept of Tawheed, the core foundation of our Islamic faith. Tawheed, or the belief in the Oneness of Allah, is not merely a theological concept but a guiding principle that shapes every aspect of our lives. Let us explore the beauty and significance of Tawheed through the timeless verses of the Quran and the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
π Quranic Verses on Tawheed:
1. Surah Al-Ikhlas (112:1-4): "Say, 'He is Allah, [Who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.'"
2. Surah Al-An'am (6:102): "That is Allah, your Lord; there is no deity except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is Disposer of all things."
3. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:163): "And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful."
4. Surah Al-An'am (6:3): "And He is Allah, [the only deity] in the heavens and the earth. He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows that which you earn."
5. Surah Ash-Shura (42:11): "There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing."
6. Surah Al-An'am (6:59): "And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it..."
π Hadiths from Sahih Bukhari on Tawheed:
1. Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Allah said: 'I am as My servant thinks (expects) I am. I am with him when he mentions Me. If he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself; and if he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in an assembly greater than it. If he draws near to Me a hand's length, I draw near to him an arm's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.'"
2. Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Islam is based on (the following) five (principles): To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Messenger; to offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly; to pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity); to perform Hajj (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca); to observe fast during the month of Ramadan."
Let us hold fast to the rope of Tawheed, for it is the source of our strength, the anchor of our faith, and the pathway to eternal bliss. May Allah, the Most Merciful, guide us on the straight path and grant us steadfastness in our belief in His Oneness.
I canβt wait until we connect again. Keep seeking forgiveness and keep praying
